Knorr Ultimate Thanksgiving Cravebox

On Wed. night I received my latest Cravebox. It was the Knorr Ultimate Thanksgiving Cravebox.. I was able to try some new products, as well as get some old standbys in my house. Below is what was in the box and my thoughts..

1. Knorr Homestyle Stock. This is much better than using bullion cubes. This is a super concentrate of chicken stock. You can dilute it, or melt it directly into your dish. I diluted mine, and used it when making my stuffing. It really adds some great home made flavor, and the nice thing is it comes Low Sodium and MSG free!!

2. A $35.00 voucher for Folded Words.com. Now this is the stationary end of Walgreens. I was able to make some very nice invitations to a surprise birthday party that I am hosting in Jan. I have not gotten the cards in the mail yet. But I have to say the designs are great, the choices are many, and the price is reasonable. I am really looking forward to getting them and checking them out.

3. Del Monte Green Beans. These are a staple in my home, we eat green beans at least once per week. So I found them very tasty and well this is the brand that I use regularly. Always quality product.

4. Coupon for free Grands Biscuits. We love Grands, and I buy them when I make stew. These too are the band that we prefer in our home.

5. McCormick Turkey Gravy Mix. McCormick has quality products and I have been using them for years. I use their Mushroom Gravy Mix when making my venison stew (used to use the Hunter Blend, but they don't make it any longer.) I also use the Turkey, Pork, and Chicken gravy mixes as well.

6. Brookside Dark Chocolate Covered Pomegranate. All I can say about these are "YUM" oh my gosh they are just sinful. I will be purchasing these again, and again :)..

7. Duncan Hines Frosting, with Flavor packet. I have not tried this as of yet, because I always make pies for the holidays. But I know that this will not sit too long. I am always making cupcakes or something so I will soon be using this up.

All in all this was a GREAT box, and I was able to use most of it for the holiday, and will use the few things that I did not use soon. I know now that I have another outlet for making cards, and gifts with Foldedwords. I have found something to replace the old bullion cubes that I have always used with Knorr, and I have found a new treat in the Brookside Chocolate..

Ball Park Flame Grilled Patties

So on Friday I got a great package in the mail. It was my Bzz Kit for the Ball Park Flame Grilled Patties campaign.
I am really looking forward to trying these out this week. My son is heavy into baseball season, and with that said I like to get him fed before games. It is pretty hard to make a home cooked meal on these days because I pick him up from school at 4 and then work till 5 and we have to be at the field at 5:15. These will be easy and look to be good quality. I have always been a fan of Ball Park franks, so I am sure that these will have the same quality that I expect from the brand. I know that Nick will enjoy them, because he is a HUGE burger fan..
So look forward to my review of the products soon.. And thanks BzzAgent for giving me the opportunity to share my opinions on these and other great products!!

Smarterer

So as some of you may know I have been a BzzAgent for quite a few years now. I have really enjoyed the ability to test new products and services, and have filled friends and family out on what I have liked and not liked. Recently they have started a new way to score us agents, and although I am not really sure about it yet, I have been participating in a new campaign to help increase my score.

I have always enjoyed sharing my opinion with others some times it is not always a good opinion, but I can say positively that I love BzzAgent. I think that Smarterer is a fun way of testing and scoring and can be used by any company.

Ristorante Pizza

So this week I got my latest BzzAgent project.. I am so excited to try out the Ristorante Pizza. I have seen these in the store but have yet to try them. We will be trying them out tomorrow night with our weekly Pizza and a Movie Night in the Turgeon house. I will make sure to add a new blog to let you all know how it tastes, but it really looks yummy :)

Thanks again to BzzAgent for letting me try these out and share my opinion with others..

As a BzzAgent, I was recently asked to try out the Hill's Science Diet Ideal Balance dog food.. I was given a 5 lb bag, and asked to feed it to our fur baby Tucker.. When my bag came in I started feeding it to Tuck. He loved it but then again he is a Lab, and he would eat a shoe if you let him :)

What I did like about this dog food was that the food is natural. Hill's Science diet works with pet owners to see what their thoughts are and what their pets like. They also work with PetMD to work with vets on what is best for your pets. http://www.petmd.com/mybowl#.Tvyy2VaqdSw

Now the price of this dog food is high, and you as a pet owner will have to decide if it is something that you want to purchase. Would I recommend the food? Yes, Is it costly? Yes. Do I think that it is worth it? Perhaps. I do think that as a pet parent you need to make that decision for yourself. I do know one thing, that when my pet has been sick, or had an upset stomach my vet always recommends Hill's Science Diet.. Take a look at the info below, and take a look at the facts and make your own decision.

Snickers

Well we had a great Halloween this year, we were picked by Snickers to hand out their new Peanut butter Squares. They taste GREAT and the kids and family loved them.. We must have handed out well over 100 bars.. Nick was full of energy as Harry Potter, and had fun with his friends trick-or-treating. He looked soo cute and really had a great time.
Now don't forget to take some extra time for your little one, they grow up so fast. Enjoy that time and remember that there are some things that you can never take back.
1. the stone you threw
2. the words you said
3. the time you missed
4. the people you love once they are gone.

I need to get better at this.

Well we are back from our annual trip to Montana, we once again had a great time, and really enjoyed visiting our friends. Nick is getting good with the fly rod and caught a few nice fish. He was so proud of himself and hey for 7 he should be. We got to see Carmen and Steve in Norris, as well as dear friends Bob and Elsie in ID. We love them all so much and it is a blessing to have them as our friends.

We are hoping next year that if things pick up with my job a little that we can pay for John's parents to fly out with us. We know this will be their last trip and due to issues with my BIL they will never go without staying in a hotel. But they can't afford that kind of money so John and I are looking in to it. It would be great to have them out one last time and to get that much needed one on one time with their grandson. They don't see Nick often and it is hard on both them and Nick. Their time is consumed by the other grandchild and it makes it hard on us.

I will try to post something every day if I can, it depends if I get any time. I am headed out to CA on Monday for work, but I enjoy my break from being a mommy for a week. I had a surprise sent o my In-Laws house for Nick while I am gone, I am hoping this will make him feel a little better about being away from mom and dad for a full week. John had plans for working 1st shift but that fell through so now he has to stay with his grandparents. He was not a happy camper when I told him that, so I hope the little gift of Lego's will help.
